Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Brief Submission guideline:

  1. Indonesian Journal of EFL and Linguistics invites scholars and experts working in education and learning.
  2. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  3. Manuscript should be typed in MS Document format, one spaced on A4-paper size, 10 to 20 pages, or about 4.000-8.000 words.
  4. The article should be written in English. The title of the article is written not more than 15 words.
  5. All submission must include 85 - 250 words abstract and 3-5 keywords. The abstract of research paper should contain the purposes, methodology, and findings of the study.
  6. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and email address;
  7. All references must follow the APA style as far as possible.
